Pamela Jones, MBA currently serves as Executive Director for The Harris Foundation. She also serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Vesalius Ventures Management: the management company responsible for management operations of The Harris Foundation. As COO, she is responsible for the daily operations of the company; including but not limited to Human Resources, Accounting and IT. She is responsible for ensuring that business operations are efficient and effective and that the proper management of resources, distribution of goods and services to Vesalius’ customers, and analysis of proper business systems is conducted. Pamela has been a member of the Vesalius team since July, 2001 and has served in multiple capacities. She has also been instrumental in conducting due diligence and research on potential investments and investment teams.
Prior to joining Vesalius Ventures, Pamela served as the Director of Business Services for Vanguard Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on investing in early stage information technology, health care, and communications companies. As manager of the Houston office she provided the management necessary to ensure that the company had the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. She was also instrumental in conducting due diligence and research on prospective investments and their teams. Pamela has over 20 years of operations management with corporate, non profit and state government entities.
Pamela holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She earned her B.S. from the University of Houston and is currently working on her Doctoral in Accounting.
