Jamison Monroe

Chairman and CEO of Monroe Vos Consulting Group

Prior to founding The Monroe Vos Consulting Group in 1994, Mr. Monroe spent nine years with two national securities firms providing investment consulting services to his clients and more than nine years with a large regional bank as a commercial lender. His primary responsibilities are consulting to our clients, marketing, and strategic planning.

Mr. Monroe graduated from Texas Christian University, B.B.A. in 1967.  He has been an active member of the Texas Christian University Alumni Board of Directors, and the United Methodist Men’s Board of Directors. Mr. Monroe was Chairman of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA®) National Conference in 1989.  In addition, he is Chairman of the Board of Monroe Capital, LLC, the holding company for what is called, Newport Academy in Orange County, California. Newport Academy is an adolescent residential addiction treatment center.

 

He has been a guest speaker for various organizations including the Investment Management Consultants Association, the Financial Executive Institute, the American Society of Pension Actuaries and the Southern Employee Benefits Conference. He has been interviewed on the subject of investment management consulting by numerous publications including Plan Sponsor Magazine, The Monitor, Registered Representative, Senior Consultant Magazine, Institutional Investor, Journal of Pension Plan Investing, Money Management Letter and Defined Contribution Plan Investing.
